La Petite Arvine is a traditional late ripening grape variety. Its name derives from the variety - Arvine - and from the small size (petite in French) of its berries. This wine is characterized by an intense minerality and salinity typical of mountain wines.
It is the manifest superiority of a tightrope walker in white, who knows how to stay on the edge of powerful alcohol and wood. Aromatic but evergreen, Mediterranean in body but Nordic in culture, from the glass you can understand the efforts and passion in the vineyard and in the cellar.
Ideal on crustaceans and molluscs, risotto with lagoon shrimps, trenette with pesto, fried scampi and squid, asparagus au gratin. But a wonderful companion of the best raw hams with a sweet tendency: from S. Daniele to Parma, from Sauris to Montagnana.
Intense and brilliant straw yellow. Bouquet of white flowers and light notes of chamomile, very fresh and linear. Ripe and pulpy palate, very precise in the varietal character, with notes of flowers and almonds, with a return of flavor in the finish.
The symbolic wine of Fontana Candida that recalls a fundamental value to the history and tradition of Frascati. Its name is inspired by the noble de'Grifi family, owner since the 11th century of the land now included in the most suitable area for the production of Frascati wine.
