Technical notes:
The Nebbiolo variety that makes up 100% Barbaresco wine is the focal point of this wine that we consider the starting Barbaresco, the starting point to get the best of our two selections. Due to the different composition of the land of origin, the consequent vinification techniques used and the historicity that we wanted to express with the name, it turns out to be a very traditional Barbaresco. It is vinified in steel tanks at a controlled temperature with periodic mechanical punching down, subsequently aged in wood by dosing small barrels and large 50 Hl oak barrels depending on the characteristics of the vintage always with the aim of enhancing the varietal characteristics of Nebbiolo.
Tasting card:
Color of a beautiful bright and inviting ruby red, it presents itself to the nose with foreal and fruity notes ranging from ripe red fruit to the typical notes of offcinal herbs. Soft, savory and velvety at the same time it leaves on the taste buds a note of sweetness and roundness typical of ripe grapes, with a slightly dry and astringent finish that has always distinguished Nebbiolo.
