This wine bears the name of the grape of the same name, a particular variety of yellow muscat which in the South Tyrolean language has always been called Pfefferer. Probably due to its spicy aroma, since in German Pfeffer means pepper.
From this ancient vine dear to the Popes, which was cultivated in Italy as early as 200 BC with the name of Apicia, Apicius or Apianae - according to Colummella and the other Georgics, a sweet wine with a Moscato flavor was obtained.
It is the wine that made us known and that keeps us on the edge with each harvest. The choice to focus on the noble rot pushes us every year to a ruthless selection of the grapes and, when nature is not favorable to us, it forces us to give up. Intense fruity notes on the nose reminiscent of elderberry, acacia flowers and sage linked by elegant hints of wood. A wine with a tasty acidity and a long finish. Aging potential: 6 - 10 years.
Intense straw yellow in color, it has a fresh and fine bouquet reminiscent of yellow roses and nutmeg and with hints of cloves and cinnamon; full-bodied, spicy and lively acidity on the palate.
Strong straw yellow in color, the nose is fruity, with hints of walnut, mango and melon; a slight note of wood makes the wine perfect in its harmonious whole. Aging potential: 6-8 years.
