The Winter Queen!
Strong brown beer (double malt), sweet. Smooth, warm and recalls notes of coffee and chocolate. High fermentation beer refermented in the bottle.
TASTE: Slightly bitter given by the roasted malt which then gives aromas of coffee, caramel and chocolate. Beer with a very smooth body with typical Belgian "watery".
APPEARANCE: Beige, compact, thin and persistent foam; dark friar's habit color, free from suspended solids, but sometimes veiled by yeast; fine carbonation.
BOUQUET: Roasted, with notes of coffee, chocolate, carob, walnut and hints of damp barrel stave, light liquorice, ripe medlar and caramel.
