Completely overwhelmed by the quality of this vineyard which dates back to the Middle Ages, Dourthe acquired the estate in 1990. For more than 25 years, a new viticultural approach has been applied to the entire vineyard, respecting the terroir and grape varieties in search of excellent quality....
From Sangiovese grapes selected by hand in the historic "Vigna Godenza" comes a wine that goes back to the origins of this vine and of the Predappio area. The vocation of the Valle del Rabbi terroir is felt loud and clear in Noelia Ricci's Godenza. An elegant, rich and without hesitation...
Our Barbaresco is the result of the careful selection of Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards owned by our family, located in different positions within the Barbaresco area: in Treiso (Cascina Il Bricco, San Stefanetto and Bongiovanni) and in San Rocco Seno D 'Elvio (Rocche di Massalupo).
A Barolo with a classic style, full-bodied and elegant, with structure and harmony, with soft tannins and the right fruit, austere but persuasive. Very long life.
Spicy, savory, medium-bodied, but with a great fragrance. Excellent with fish. It should be served slightly chilled.
With Sangiovese grapes grown on the clayey-sandy slopes of the Rabbi valley, we have produced this fast and pungent wine, with a defined compulsive drink, a tribute to the classicism of this territory.
