The Montecrocetta vineyards are located on tuffs of volcanic origin with an average age of the vines of thirty years. In the drying technique used by the cellar on drying, centuries-old local traditions are followed, with an attention always aimed at experimentation.
Selected harvest, part of the grapes harvested in small boxes and left to dry for 3 months. Long fermentation and subsequent refinement in small second passage barrels. Bottled without filtration.
Velvet. Raisins of Merlot and fresh fruit of selected Cabernet Sauvignon. One year of rest in cask and one year of aging in bottle. Fabric and complexity.
The color is an intense garnet red, the flavor is generous and powerful. The complex aroma refers to notes of ripe red berry fruit, among which cherry and morello cherry prevail, with important nuances of undergrowth and leather. These are the characteristics that make this wine unique in its kind.
