The Montecrocetta vineyards are located on tuffs of volcanic origin with an average age of the vines of thirty years. In the drying technique used by the cellar on drying, centuries-old local traditions are followed, with an attention always aimed at experimentation.
Intense ruby color with violet reflections. Nose of great maturity and breadth: black cherry, tanned tobacco, cocoa powder and lava stone follow one another. The finish is calibrated and long, very precise in its retro olfactory returns.
The blend of NM and NC is prepared: minerality, spiciness in a harmony of red fruits are its gustatory characteristics.
Selected harvest, part of the grapes harvested in small boxes and left to dry for 3 months. Long fermentation and subsequent refinement in small second passage barrels. Bottled without filtration.
