Vernaccia di Oristano DOC Contini
Golden yellow color, with subtle amber reflections. The olfactory bouquet is intense and penetrating, composed of hints of fresh citrus, wet stone, aromatic herbs and almond blossoms. The sip is clean and fresh, juicy, with a long persistence, warm and pleasantly bitter on the finish.
The alluvial lands of the Tirso valley give the grapes of these ancient vines oenological characteristics of great value. Enriched by at least five years of aging in centuries-old chestnut and oak barrels, Vernaccia di Oristano acquires a golden color, with amber reflections and an intense and characteristic aroma reminiscent of almond blossoms.
Exquisite dessert wine, if served chilled it is an excellent aperitif. It also accompanies specialties based on pan-fried fish, tasty appetizers and the typical mullet bottarga. Serving temperature: from 8 ° C as an aperitif to 16 ° C with desserts.
